Our Design Process
On-Site Consultation
When you hire us to create a design, one of our Prosper, TX landscape designers will come out to your home for an in-depth and in-person consultation in preparation for your landscape design. At this time, the designer will be asking you a lot of questions to get a true sense of your goals, style and vision as well as reviewing the overall budget established for your project.
Site Survey
During the latter part of the in-person consultation, our designer will perform an outdoor site survey of your property and the proposed space noting available natural sunlight, land grades, soil type, obstructions and existing irrigation and drainage systems.
Digital Design
After gathering all needed information, we’ll head back to our office and create your digital design with our 3D landscaping software. On average, a digital landscaping design takes between 10-14 days, depending on project scope and current workload.
Presentation
Once the digital design has been completed, our designer will contact you to schedule a design presentation. This design presentation typically takes one hour and will be presented using interactive computer generated 3D renderings of your new outdoor
space. Throughout this presentation, our clients are encouraged to ask any questions and provide input. Changes to the design can be made in real time during this presentation. By the end of our presentation, the design should be a reflection of your goals and vision for the final product and you should have a landscape design you are thrilled about.
Final Design Plan
Once the landscape design has been approved, we will e-mail you a digital copy of the final landscape design plans along with a list of materials for Sol Vida Landscaping to complete the installation. You will maintain full ownership rights to the design and can keep it for future use. When you decide to hire Sol Vida Landscaping to complete the proposed installation work, you may qualify for a design rebate (see Our Rebate Program below).
Landscape Design Fees

Single Area Design $500
This includes a landscape design for 1-3 landscaping beds or up to 500 square feet in a single area: front, side, backyard area.

Multiple Area Design $700
This includes a landscape design for 1-6 landscaping beds or up to 700 square feet in multiple areas: front, side, backyard area.
Our Rebate Program
If you hire us to do the landscaping installation work and put your 50% deposit down within 30 days of receiving the final landscape design plans, you may be eligible to receive a rebate of the design fee on your final invoice. Our qualifying rebates work as follows:
- Single Area Design: We offer a $100 rebate of your design fee ($500) when the invoice total is greater than $3000.00 (before tax).
- Multiple Area Design: We offer a $200 rebate of your design fee ($700) when the invoice total is greater than $5000.00 (before tax).
